 How to Obtain Real Estate Document Copies
We have three options available to obtain copies of real estate documents for property located in Outagamie County.  Before choosing the option that works best for you please read the following guidelines carefully.
  • You must provide the recording data necessary to process your request (i.e.: document #, volume/page)
  • We do not perform title searches to find this information, that is your responsibility
  • Refer to the fee schedule below to determine what  you will need to include with your request
 Option One Option Two 
 Request your copies in person at the Register of Deeds Service Desk. While you wait, our staff will print your copies, then  just pay the required fees and you're   on your way.  Request your documents by mail. You must provide the  recording information along with the proper fee and a self-addressed stamped business size envelope for us to return your documents, as well as a current phone number in case we have questions about your request.

 Fees
 R E Documents          $2.00 for the 1st page of each document, $1.00 for each addl page 
 Plat Maps                                     $5.00/page in-person  $7.00/page if mailed
 Certified copies are an additional $1 per copy and must be picked up at the ROD Service Desk
