Plamann Park Shelters

Shelter reservations can be made for the 2019 picnic season starting January 2, 2019. For more information please call the Outagamie County Plamann Park Office at 920-832-4791.

The County Treasurer's Office will no longer be accepting reservations for Plamann Park Shelters.

Reservations are now made online with our new reservation system or in the Plamann Park Office at 1375 E. Broadway Drive, Appleton WI 54913. If you would like to make a half day reservation please call or stop into the Plamann Park Office as that cannot be done online. No refunds will be issued without a 30 day advanced notice. **There is a $5.00 fee for an alcohol permit, $10.00 fee for our picnic equipment kit (includes: volleyball, net, horse shoes, Frisbees, and bean bags (Chris Brandt Shelter ONLY)) or bases, and $35.00 to reserve ball diamonds with your shelter reservation. Things To Do

While at the park you may want to visit Plamann Lake and the Plamann Park Children’s Farm. If you are interested in sports activities, there are volleyball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits and a 5-star rated 27 pole hole disc golf course. Please bring your own Frisbees. No reservations are necessary for disc golf. Plamann Park also has self-guided nature trails and hiking trails.

We do reserve ball diamonds for a fee of $35.00 per day. Ball diamonds cannot be reserved during league play. Volleyball courts, or tennis courts are “first come, first serve” except when the facilities are reserved. 

Park Rules and Ordinances

There is a caretaker on duty in the park at all times. He is there to enforce the park ordinances and it is within his power to write citations for violations, so please obey the park rules.

Please make yourself and your group aware of the park rules and ordinances.

  • No domestic animals allowed. No littering.No fires except in designated receptacles.
  • Are you having a dunk tank? Please call the park for information.
  • Speed limit in the park is 15 MPH.
  • The park closes at 11:00 P.M. Shelters open at 10 A.M. and close at 10 P.M.
  • Vehicles may not be driven or parked on the grass.
  • Alcoholic beverages require a permit which will be issued at the park
    on the day of your event.  ($5.00 permit fee)
  • Amplified music, a P.A. system, radio, TV, etc. are not allowed in the park, except those that may be used with earphones.
