Plamann Kid's Day

Plamann Park has 257 acres of scenic hills and trails. The park offers many park activities that you will discover as you browse through this website. During the snow season you can find various winter recreation opportunities.

Please note that alcoholic beverages are not allowed without a permit issued by the parks department. Alcohol permits are $5.00 per day.

Dogs are not allowed in Plamann Park. (The county does have a dog park you can take them to).

Children's Farm

The farm is the home of several young farm animals on loan from local farms in this area and are living in a farm like setting. The animals, cows, pigs, goats, sheep and rabbits can be viewed and petted by visitors from outside the fence. Feeding of the animals by visitors is not permitted because some of the young animals are on special diets. The animals are returned to their "home" farms as they become bigger or at the end of the summer season. Opens May 22nd, 2020 and closes September 7th, 2020.

Family Friendly Trails

Cow Path - While you are visiting the Children's Farm try hiking the Cow Path Trail. This trail was created as an Eagle Scout Project and is 1,745 ft. long.

Bird Trail - Take a walk through our new bird trail, but don't forget your binoculars! The trail has signs about most of the birds native to this area and Plamann Park as well.

Disc Golf Course

The Plamann Park course is a 5-star rated 27 hole disc golf course. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the course. The course hours are from 7:00 am to dusk. Please bring your own disc's. No reservations are necessary for disc golf.

More Things To Do

If you are interested in sports activities, there are volleyball courts, tennis courts, and horseshoe pits. Volleyball courts, tennis courts and horseshoe pits are on a "first come, first serve" base except when the facilities are reserved. Plamann Park also has self-guided nature and hiking trails. You can also find winter recreation right at Plamann Park.

We reserve ball diamonds for individuals or groups. Each diamond is $35.00 per day. Bases or Equipment (Volleyball, net and horseshoes) are also for rent for $10.00 per day. Ball diamonds cannot be reserved when facilities are being used for league play.
