Outagamie County coordinated its first bi-annual CHAIN Reaction Day on May 14, 1994. Approximately125 volunteers completed spring clean-up chores for 93 homes. It has been held every spring and fall since with hundreds of volunteers helping the elderly and disabled in Outagamie County.

Would you like to assist older persons and persons with disabilities in your community by volunteering to do some Spring or Fall raking, window washing, and/or outside clean up chores?

You can become a vital link in the Outagamie County CHAIN Reaction Day. On the last Saturday in April and October volunteers link together countywide to perform outside home chores (yard clean-up/window washing) for persons in need in Outagamie County. Volunteers work together in teams of 4-6 people.

You can volunteer:

  • Individually and we will put you on a team of volunteers (4 – 6 people on a team)
  • With your family as a team
  • Putting your own team together with friends, co-workers, club members, sports team, etc.

If you cannot help on the designated Saturday, but would like to help, we will work with your schedule.
