Providing Environmental Education & Recreation

Mosquito Hill Nature Center is an environmental education and recreation facility operated by the Outagamie County Parks Department. The center is open year-round on 441 acres adjacent to the Wolf River. An 11,000 square-foot interpretive building features natural history exhibits, hands-on displays, a gift shop, themed classrooms, meeting rooms, library and office.  Environmental education or natural history programs are offered for schools, youth and adult groups by appointment. Trails and indoor exhibits are open to the public at no charge.

 

The location of the facility is just east of New London, Wisconsin in Outagamie County at N3880 Rogers Road.

trail system for hiking or walking includes three miles of developed trails with a loop to scenic vistas on top of Mosquito Hill, one of the highest elevation points in the area. The All People’s Trail is a paved trail (.6 mile one-way) for more accessible wheelchair access. When the snow season arrives, check out our three signed snowshoe trails, one which takes you to the top of Mosquito Hill. Trails are open daily during daylight hours with the exception of the gun deer hunting season in November and shorter hunting seasons in December.
