Our Playscape opened in 2016 to give young visitors a safe place to run freely. This space is missing the traditional elements of a playground—slides, swings, monkey bars, etc. and instead offers a more natural environment to run, jump, climb, crawl and be imaginative.

The playscape is located in the old quarry on the east side of Rogers Road and includes boulders to climb on, a tunnel to crawl through (watch for toads!), the stump jump, a timber bridge, and a whimsical treehouse.

Many people and organizations were involved in imagining, creating, fund-raising for, donating to, and building the playscape.
