Features of Outagamie County Parks
At our Plamann Park location we have a plethora of activities for all the seasons. Let's start off with a journey through the seasons.
Winter at Plamann Park
Plamann Park offers two miles of snowshoe trail as well as a few snowshoeing events with snowshoe rentals available.
There is approximately four miles of cross country ski trails for diagonal stride and cross country skiing. We do not have any trails suitable for skate style skiing however Lecker Park in Grand Chute is a great place for skate style. Our trails are packed and tracked within 24 hours of every snowfall.
Plamann Park also has two wonderful sledding hills.
Outagamie County has 299.3 miles of snowmobile trails and some of that runs right through Plamann Park. The snowmobile season runs from December 15 to March 31 yearly, this however does not mean that the trails are open.
Spring at Plamann Park
Plamann Park is beautiful this time of year with all the blooms and blossoms. We have a unique array of spring flowers that bloom from late April to mid May. This is a great time of year to take a self guided hike on any of our trails, there are many things to see. All of these flowers listed below can be found throughout Plamann Park in the spring.

Did you know Plamann Park Disc Golf Course has been named Best in the Valley for more than five years straight. Grand Chute Youth Baseball also has league play from early May to mid July.
Plamann Park Children's Farm was established in 1989 to bring a farm setting to people of Outagamie County. The Children's Farm is a free attaction for the general public that features both fun and educational learning. This farm is unique in the sense that most of these animals are young, babies if you will. From calves to kid goats and piglets to lambs. We have over 5,000 visitors each year. In addition to the animals, there are a few different trails including one shaped like a cow. Check out the Children's Farm Page for more information about opening and hours of operation.
