The Board meets pursuant to adjournment, and is called to order by Chairperson Nooyen at 7:00 p.m. in the County Board Room, located at 410 South Walnut Street, Appleton, Wisconsin.

SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
ESTABLISH ORDER OF THE DAY
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR A PERIOD OF FIFTEEN MINUTES (PERTINENT TO THE RESOLUTIONS OF THE DAY).
County Executive Nelson appointment of David Holst as Outagamie County Veterans Service Officer.
REPORT BY THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE - County Executive Thomas Nelson will give an Administrative Update.
REPORT AND PRESENTATION OF COUNTY LOBBYIST - County Lobbyist Mark Wadium will speak on subjects of County interest.
Resolution No. Z-3—2017-18– Agriculture, Extension Education, Zoning & Land Conservation Committee. Approve of the proposed rezoning request for Hiroyuki and Vicki Nakashima of 12.77 acres located in the Town of Grand Chute from the General Agricultural District to the Single Family Residential District.
Resolution No. 58—2017-18– Public Safety Committee. Authorize and approve of the “Outagamie County, Wisconsin 2017-2022 Hazard Mitigation Plan”.
Resolution No. 59—2017-18– Legislative/Audit & Human Resources Committee. Resolve to conduct a countywide advisory referendum with the spring 2018 general election, with the question as follows: “Do you favor adoption of a nonpartisan system for redistricting of legislative and congressional districts in Wisconsin?”, and instruct proper notice be provided the public and County Clerk.
Ordinance No. D—2017-18– Highway, Recycling & Solid Waste Committee. Amend Article IV - Section 36-91 “Speed Zones Established” of the Outagamie County Code of Ordinances.
Ordinance No. E—2017-18– Legislative/Audit & Human Resources Committee. Approve amendments to Rule 7 (Outagamie County Code Sec. 2.50) reducing the time requirement for distribution (e-mailing) of the County Board packet from five days to four days prior to each County Board meeting, and approve the Board Chairperson may discretionarily waive the resolution or ordinance submission requirement if matter is of sufficient import and the County Clerk has sufficient time for inclusion in the packet.
