Outagamie County is now accepting grant applications to assist local units of government develop new greenway networks that are regional in nature.

What is a greenway?

Greenways are continuous, linear spaces- whether urban or rural- that connect people, nature, and communities. They can include trails, sidewalks, bike lanes, wildlife corridors, waterways, and more.

Who can apply?

Local units of government within Outagamie County are eligible to apply.

Key funding details:

• Total Funding Available: $55,000
• Grant Awards: Reimbursement-only. Grants may fund up to 25% of a project's total cost or a maximum of $55,000, whichever is less.
• Application Deadline: March 2, 2026 at noon
