The County Treasurer, as the investment officer for the county, is responsible to receive, disburse, and manage all monies belonging to Outagamie County. The Treasurer also collects property taxes and maintains delinquent real estate tax records.
To provide the necessary services to all Outagamie County municipalities enabling each unit to receive up-to-date maps, prepared real and personal property assessment rolls and to provide assistance with the collection of taxes.

The mission of the County Treasurer’s office is to provide necessary financial services for the general public, the county departments, elected officials and municipalities in a timely and efficient manner, at a level consistent with laws and professional standards, to safeguard the assets of the county through prudent management and procedures.
The office accomplishes this mission by:
• Providing reliable information for public inquiries through our website
• Maintaining 15 years of property tax information.
• Prompt posting of property taxes, accounts receivables and other county receipts.
• Accurately reconciling the annual settlement of taxes between the local and state government for the 34 municipalities in Outagamie County.
• Daily reconciliation of the county’s bank account.
• Managing investments prudently.
• Issuing tax certificates and performing tax foreclosures through the In-Rem process.
• Assisting the Drainage Board with disbursements and budgets.
• Timely distribution of general bills and payroll checks.
• Using and exploring up-to-date technology
• Fostering professional growth through training and the sharing of information.

The mission of the Property Listing Office is to maintain accurate ownership records, legal descriptions, assessed values and other imperative information of all property in Outagamie County, to insure a fair and equitable tax base. We correlate a mass of information coming from municipal assessors, clerks and treasurers, the Register of Deeds, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and the Planning Department.
The office accomplishes this mission by:
• Communication with the key individuals to maintain the flow of data exchange in a timely and cost efficient manner.
• Accurately recording property ownership and legal descriptions.
• Using and exploring up-to-date technology.
• Providing reliable property information for public inquiries through our website.
• Accurate recording of land class descriptions, assessed values, school codes and special district codes.
• Accurate recording of all special assessments and lottery credits
• Accurate entries of the 34 municipalities’ tax rates.
• Produce and distribute accurate assessment rolls, assessment notices, tax rolls and tax bills.
• Fostering professional growth through training and the sharing of information. |
