Sheriff sales are conducted at 9:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Outagamie County Justice Center, 320 S. Walnut Street, Appleton.

Successful bidders are required to have 10% of their bid in cash, money order or certified check at the time of the sale, made payable to the Outagamie County Clerk of Courts.  Also, there is a transfer fee of .003 x the amount of the accepted bid.  This fee can be paid by personal check and should be made payable to the Outagamie County Register of Deeds.  The balance is due at the time of confirmation.  The successful bidder is also responsible for all legal liens, encumbrances and unpaid real estate taxes.  All properties are sold as is and are not available for viewing.  The bank, lending institution or their attorney will put in the first bid.  Anyone else can then bid on the property.  The property goes to the highest bidder.
