The Legislative Services office is a nonpartisan County Board staff agency, including the positions of Legislative Services Coordinator and support staff. The Legislative Services Coordinator directs the office under the general direction and oversight of the County Board Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, and the standing Legislative/Audit and Human Resources Committee.
The office provides research, program analysis, information, secretarial, and administrative services for the County Board of Supervisors; drafts resolutions and ordinances; staffs committee meetings; maintains library of state legislation; coordinates group tours for the county complex.
