Children's Farm

The farm is the home of several young farm animals on loan from local farms in this area and are living in a farm like setting. The animals, cows, pigs, goats, sheep and rabbits can be viewed and petted by visitors from outside the fence. Feeding of the animals by visitors is not permitted because some of the young animals are on special diets. The animals are returned to their "home" farms as they become bigger or at the end of the summer season. Opens May 25, 2013 and closes September 3, 2013..

The Cow Path Trail

While you are visiting the Children's Farm try hiking the Cow Path Trail. This trail was created as an Eagle Scout Project. The trail is 1,745 ft. long.

Disc Golf Course

The Plamann Park course is a 5-star rated 27 pole disc golf course. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the course. The course hours are from 7:00 to dusk. Please bring your own Frisbees. No reservations are necessary for disc golf.

More Things To Do

If you are interested in sports activities, there are baseball diamonds, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and horseshoe pits. Plamann Park also has self-guided nature trails and hiking trails. You can also find winter recreation.

We do not reserve ball diamonds, volleyball courts, or tennis courts for individuals or groups. It is “first come, first serve” except when the facilities are being used by Plamann Park leagues.
