Plamann Park Shelters

Shelter reservations can be made for the 2018 picnic season starting January 2, 2018. For more information please call the County Treasurer's Office at 920-832-5065.

Parks is currently working with our IT Department on obtaining and implementing reservation software in 2018 that will greatly simplify our reservation process.  We hope to roll out this new software program and reservation system mid to late 2018.  Until then, please direct all reservation requests to the Outagamie County Treasurer's Office at the number listed below.

Reservations are made with the County Treasurer's Office and then must be confirmed within 7 days. To confirm your reservation you must fill out the bottom half of the reservation form and return it to the County Treasurer's Office along with a check for payment of the shelter. (Write on the memo part of your check the date/shelter you will be using). No refunds will be issued without a 30 day advanced notice.

Things To Do

While at the park you may want to visit Plamann Lake and the Plamann Park Children’s Farm. If you are interested in sports activities, there are baseball diamonds, volleyball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits and a 5-star rated 27 pole hole disc golf course. Please bring your own Frisbees. No reservations are necessary for disc golf. Plamann Park also has self-guided nature trails and hiking trails.

We do not reserve ball diamonds, volleyball courts, or tennis courts for individuals or groups. It is “first come, first serve” except when the facilities are being used by Plamann Park leagues.

Park Rules and Ordinances

There is a caretaker on duty in the park at all times. He is there to enforce the park ordinances and it is within his power to write citations for violations, so please obey the park rules.

Please make yourself and your group aware of the park rules and ordinances.

  • No domestic animals allowed. No littering.No fires except in designated receptacles.
  • Are you having a dunk tank? Please call the park for information.
  • Speed limit in the park is 15 MPH.
  • The park closes at 11:00 P.M. Shelters open at 10 A.M. and close at 10 P.M.
  • Vehicles may not be driven or parked on the grass.
  • Alcoholic beverages require a permit which will be issued at the park
    on the day of your event.  ($5.00 permit fee)
  • Amplified music, a P.A. system, radio, TV, etc. are not allowed in the park, except those that may be used with earphones.
