Mosquito Hill Nature Center and Simply Repurposed in New London are excited to host a combined event on picturesque properties of Mosquito Hill and Whistler’s Knoll. The settings are the perfect backdrops to showcase vintage, repurposed, handmade and homegrown items. Live music and a variety of food trucks will be present to add to the ambiance of the day. Our hope is to create a unique event that continues to grow each year.

 

HOW TO APPLY
Vendors please complete and submit the appropriate form/forms.
This is a juried event. We will be looking at your social media sites and photos to make selections. If this will be your first show don’t hesitate to apply. We are looking to expose new talent. Our goal is to provide a mix of merchandise to make this event unique.

SHOW DATE & HOURS
September 16, 2018, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is an outdoor event. Please prepare accordingly. Tents are highly advised and must be staked or weighted.

MERCHANDISE REQUIREMENTS
Display and set-up are critical to making this a quality experience. Your space should feel like a little shop or boutique. This is not a Flea Market-type show. Your items must be unique, current and interesting. If you are a brick-and-mortar store the majority of items must be vintage or handmade.

Vendors must have a representative in their booth at all times. Each vendor will be provided a badge and an additional badge for an assistant. Badges must be worn at all times and will be used for gate access.

PAYMENT
Payment by check is required with your application. Checks will be held until Jan 7th when the Selection Committee reviews all applications. Those applicants who are accepted will be notified within 7 days. Checks will be returned to all other applicants. If you are a no-show on September 16th, your payment is non-refundable and will be considered a donation to Mosquito Hill Nature Center.

SET-UP/TAKE-DOWN
Set-up will take place from 7:00 am until 9:45 am on September 16th.
Vehicles must be moved to the vendor parking area no later than 30 mins prior to the start of the show.

Booths can be dismantled at 4:00 pm and vehicles can be moved for loading/packing.

SALES TAX REQUIREMENTS
All vendors must provide a sales receipt to each customer which includes a 5% sales tax.

PET POLICY
There are no pets allowed on Mosquito Hill Nature Center or Whistler’s Knoll property.
